Hi!

Hi, it's WeiYun.

Yes, I finally have my song up here. Sorry I'm slow; I was in Singapore where I had no privacy whatsoever. I couldn't write for five minutes without someone breathing down my neck. I swear, I almost bit my cousin's head off... but I digress.

Back to the song. Why "At the Beginning"? I have three reasons:

1) This is the beginning of a song blog.

2) It's a nice song ^^ Come on, admit it. Yes, I mean even you emo people who listen to Marilyn Manson on loop.

3) No idea, really?

Which brings me back to the reason I joined Pin here. I suppose it could go back to the first day we met? In normal circumstances, I wouldn't be able to remember the date, or the first thing that came into my mind about her. However, I can recall these pieces of information very clearly: 9/10/2006, the first day I went to Uplands. First thing that came into my mind: SCARY PERSON. AAAAA!!!

I'm serious. It wasn't really her who scared me, it was the atmosphere in general that did. And anybody who talked to me on that day was deemed scary... You get the picture. It wasn't easy. coming in in the middle of a new term. I was the only new student, unlike what it would have been at the beginning of term where there would have been four or five along with me. I don't think it's an easy feeling to describe without getting too emotional or touchy-feely, or to divulge without giving away too much.

Anyway, a big bunch of stuff happened, inculding drama, fights, and tears... (those of you in Maths Set 3, you'll know what I'm talking about!) Somehow, our friendship became stronger after that day, instead of disintegrating (which I was scared would happen) Then some more weird stuff happened and I ended up on this song blog. I think I've been posessed by monsters, my OWN blog is as dead as it gets and I'm picking up the responsibility of updating this one. Sigh.

As you know, PAWS is a combination of the two of our names. The PAW bit was my idea. The S was hers. I'm quite surprised that I had the mental capability to think of an acronym at all, even one that isn't that great. The "S" bit made it better, but still. As Pin said, the name's left for intepretation. We could be crazy anthro animals that are going to save the world ala Transformers or something like that. Or we could be crazy wolves that are posing as humans just like in Wolf's Rain.

Or you could just disbelieve me and conclude that we're deluded. And just go listen to the song.

Yeah, that sounds like a better idea.
